Counsellor Directory
This innovative membership service serves to promote business information about your counselling practice, specialized services and skills as well as the ability to upload a profile picture and business logo. With futurist trends heading towards a generation that seeks information online as well as a specific set of skills, knowledge and experience, the CPCA believes this directory will provide a competitive edge for marketing our member's counselling services across Canada to the public, insurance providers, EAP contractors and government for verification of your legitimacy. All members who are in "good standing" will be approved to list their contact information in the directory on an annual basis. It allows our members to login to their directory listing once it has been approved and make any changes to their contact information.

Description
Chelsea is dedicated to an empathetic, person-centred approach in supporting her clients in the areas of trauma, addiction, grief and loss, employment and family support counselling. She is proficient in assisting individuals in uncovering and identifying behavioural blocks by exploring and assessing their overall physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellness in the form of one-on-one sessions and group facilitation.
Chelsea’s career in the helping field began many years ago as a 9-1-1 Dispatcher, which inspired her to become a licensed Primary Care Paramedic (formerly EMT). Her eyes were quickly opened to the reality that it doesn’t matter where we come from; we have all experienced some sort of trauma. After suffering from a back injury while out on an emergency call, her professional life came to a halt. Chelsea went on to spend six years in the film industry, but always knew there was something lacking. She missed the element of being of service to others. This drove her to make a career change and led her back into the healthcare field. She went on to obtain her Professional Counsellor Diploma and is registered with the Canadian Professional Counsellors Association (CPCA).
Working in the addiction field is something that Chelsea is passionate about. She has firsthand experience supporting loved ones who have struggled with their addiction and has deep admiration for her clients who are willing to ask for help.
